Sarah Al-Qatou is a creative producer with an array of experiences championing crowd-pleasing narratives that elevate diverse perspectives. In 2025, she served as the Creative Executive at Rideback RISE, where she spearheaded development of the slate of film & TV projects within RISE's filmmaker fellowship program. Previously, she was a Creative Executive at Issa Rae’s banner, HOORAE – where she produced across film, TV, and unscripted, notably working on Rap Sh!t S2 (HBOMax) and Seen & Heard (HBO). In addition, she worked with filmmaker Lulu Wang under her banner Local Time, supporting production of Wang’s limited series, Expats (Amazon). She has also worked at film financier Big Beach & in film acquisitions at Focus Features. Sarah produced the action short film, TRIGGERMAN by Tyler Holmes (Foundation), released by Omeleto. A UCLA grad, she has supported programs such as: The Academy's Film Accelerator, Palm Springs Shortfest, Sundance & WIF Financing Intensive, and Reel Champions. She is a former Film Independent Project Involve Fellow, and a 2025 WIF Business Fellow.
